What caught my eye – favorites from the past month

November for me was a bit of a whirlwind as I did NaNoNo (write 50,000 words in a month with a worldwide writing community).  Checking out other blogs was a nice release and there is what caught my eye.  Note there is Christmas ideas below!!

For me this was eye candy.  Check out a crafter’s home over at Matemo.

I love to travel so this automatically caught my eye.  22 ways to capture your time abroad. I mean 22! Head over to Capaworld and start capturing.

Since it is December I had to share some holiday eye candy.  Head over to Inspired by Charm for inspiration on decorating your tree. I think he has 10 full-on trees decorated in every style! The above is one of my favorites from the site.

Head over to The Cottage Market and check out their farmhouse thrift-store makeover. There is something for everyone – even broken furniture!

Modern Mrs Darcy  has 100 stocking stuffer ideas for us.

Check out what my friend Wanda over at A Wandafulthing with an wooden tray she picked up at a thrift store. Also check out her 12 days of Christmas happening with vintage items.

  1. Oh my goodness that tree is total christmas inspiration! I have two cats so whenever I think my tree is up to scracth, 10 minutes later they have it ruined! Seriously! It’s not fair!! Hope you have a lovely Christmas xx

    1. That is too bad – at least someone in the house is enjoying the tree! Do you have a real one? Do you think they would do the same to an artificial tree? Thanks for stopping by!

      1. Ye we had a real one this year. IF we stay in London we go real, if we go home we use the fake. It doesnt matter, they still think either is the most fascinating thing ever. I think its the baubbles 🙂 No problem, hope you had a lovely Christmas xx

        1. I think it is the lights on the tree even more than the decorations. Took the ornaments off and had tree still up for a few days and enjoyed just the lights on.

          1. We’ve kept the lights up in the sitting room around the curtain rails and it’s really pretty at night for us. I love fairy lights!! The tree is gone now and the house feels huge now 😂

            1. Was over at co-workers last night for event and she still had her tree up and it just made the room prettier/cosier. Yes to keeping the lights around the curtain rail or wherever year round as it is pretty and safer than candles. Thanks for stopping by!!

            2. Definatly safer and prettier than canndles in my eyes! And those little batterry operated fairy lights are every where these days! Perfect for small spaces to liven up!! xx

Would love to hear your ideas and thoughts!
